The below was received from Maria Lotycka (ex-Scott) 24 Aug 2007 14:06 Dear Members, It was a pleasant surprise to find your website whilst surfing the web in a moment of nostalgia. It was 33 years today (1974 Navy Days) that I married PO Ted Scott (communications branch) at the chapel in Portsmouth dockyard and held my wedding reception on HMS Tartar that evening after the dockyard was cleared of visitors - a theme wedding well before such were invented! Despite the marriage ending after the renowned 7 year itch, and my ex dying in the early 90\'s, I have nevertheless always held a soft spot for my time on HMS Tartar and in Portsmouth. more..
