 Since its Inauguration at the first reunion held at the Commodore Hotel in Blackpool in April 2005 The Tartar Association has gone from strength to strength. Having just held our eighth reunion at the Red Lea Hotel Scarborough (our second visit to this great venue!) membership has grown to over 120 registered members. Year on year the reunions have attracted more new faces (or should that be old faces!!) and old friendships have been renewed and new ones created.
Membership is open to all Military and Civilian personnel who served in the Type 81 Frigate F133 and her predecessor the Tribal Class Destroyer F43/G43.
Members are invited to contribute stories, news items, memories and photographs, or if you prefer, just enjoy browsing the site. If you are just visiting, please take a moment to sign the Guest Book. You never know, an old shipmate may spot your name and get in touch!
Once you have registered your details on the website (using the 'Create an Account' link in the login box), if you would like to join the Association, you can download a membership application form here and join by Snail mail. When filling in the registration form, don't forget to tell us a bit about yourself, it adds to the interest value of the site and often helps to prod failing memories! We have quite a lot of those!
